I can’t believe that Valentine’s Day is tomorrow ! WHAT !? 2015 is blowing by…and I do mean blowing.

For those of you who are rushing to find the perfect thing to wear for this crazy and totally blown-out-of-proportion holiday (or anti-holiday for some), beware of overdoing your reds and pinks to avoid looking like a walking, talking Victoria’s Secret billboard.

Believe it or not, a dress in the wintertime is still doable with those ghostly white gams. Don’t worry, you will you fit in with everyone else’s beautiful shade of pale. Creamy white skin paired with a pop of red can make for the perfect ensemble. I’m bringin’ it back ya’ll!

If it’s a little colder than it is here in Dallas [insert 80 degrees and sunny here] I would recommend throwing on a long, black jacket with some sheer stockings and you’re all set!

If you’re looking for something that is high end on a budget. Try this! It’s one of my favorite lipsticks of all time. It feels soft and light, and has a slight taste of watermelon to make it kissable.

With temperamental Texas weather afloat in the midst of February, it’s infuriatingly hard to figure out what you’re supposed to wear. For those of you who don’t know Texas weather,  it can be 30 degrees and snowing one day, then 80 degrees and sunny the next. It’s absurd.

When I made the mad dash to my closet to figure out this nonsense, my hand reached directly for a pair of culottes that could be acceptable to wear during the winter (thank you plum!) and a patterned crop top. People might question the crop top portion, but I see it as a great excuse for wishful spring thinking. Just add a big old coat on top and your ready for the ultimate weather contradiction.
