Everyone keeps talking about the LWD (Little White Dress), but why white when you can add a little sunshine to your life? I’m dubbing the LYD (Little Yellow Dress) the “it” dress of the season.

Now that wedding season is practically all year round (especially if you’re 20-something), it’s always great to have a few dresses already on hand for the occasion. This LYD is the perfect thing to slip on and go for a summertime wedding.

Enjoy wearing yellow for as long as you still can… fall is right around the corner!

This week’s/next week’s shenanigans include mom’s birthday, my birthday, grandma’s birthday, dad’s birthday, 2 co-workers birthdays, and a friend’s birthday. I think we can officially and accurately coin the holiday term “Christmas in July” as ours.

I don’t know what it is about July, but even after the 4th is over I still feel patriotic. Maybe it’s because red is just a summer color in general, but I like to thing it’s for bigger reasons. Cue the Santa hats…
